The Kanata Kareer Group is a self-help group, open to everyone from the local area who is seeking to rejoin the workforce. We hold weekly meetings with typical attendance of fifteen to thirty members. After attending your first meeting you will be invited to participate in the online community of over seven hundred people. Most members have worked in the high tech industry, but many other professions are represented.
Guest speakers are a regular feature of KKG meetings. Recent guest speakers have included:

- Keeping motivated

- Weekly meeting: Every Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
at Kanata United Church (KUC), 33 Leacock Drive, Kanata - Executive meeting: First Tuesday of every month, 12:00 noon at Kanata United Church. Help the KKG executive plan future meetings, then join the regular weekly meeting
- KKG After Dark: every few months we hold an evening meeting, to socialize and reconnect with those members who are now employed. We usually have a short (1/2 hour) presentation from a guest as well. These events are advertised in our online group and also on this page.
